There's not a whole lot of new material to put on this page. My belief that massage therapy is my passport to staying young and healthy is one I firmly endorse, and the wellness tours that I participate in -- whether in the form of an occasional bodywork immersion excursion, or searching out therapists in Hawaii, where we spend about 20% of the year, or the now-annual ashiatsu celebration aboard two wheels -- have proven to my satisfaction that this is a way for me to maintain my youth, to rejuvenate myself, and to limit my visits to doctors to an annual physical exam at most. I like to say that each year, as I approach the anniversary of my birth, I feel a year younger -- spiritually and physically as well. This is the way I intend to keep it.

There of course is much more to my life's story than I'll recite here. Many of the visitors who will be visiting this site have already seen the earlier versions, so in deference to them I'll provide the newcomers with links to my earlier long distance tours -- the one in 2000 when I spent four months motorcycling around the 48 continental states, and the one last year when I spent 5-1/2 weeks saluting the barefoot therapists of the country.
The link for the 2000 tour, with full history of the rider, is:
and for the 2004 ashiatsu tour, complete with detailed descriptions of the trip, the rider and how all this got started: http://barefeet2004.homestead.com/
Well, enough with preliminaries. Now on with the show, starting with photos of the home team, then the therapists I'll be seeing on this trip, and finally the weekly updates -- narratives of my travels together with some photos to document this year's journey. Hope you enjoy it!
